About

Hello and thanks for visiting!

We are Eric and Kelsey Knutson, part-time farmers and lovers of all things home-grown. Knutson Family Farms started in the Spring of 2017 when we had an overabundance of produce and eggs and wanted to share them with our friends, family and neighbors. We moved out to Warren in 2016 when we bought an acre property which already had some established fruit trees and a good sized garden plot. Since then, we have expanded the garden, given it deer proof fencing, added a menagerie of farm animals and expanded the orchard.

Our property now includes over 2,500 square feet of garden, 6 apple trees, 2 plums, 2 pear trees, 2 peach trees, a fig tree, 3 cherries, 4 hazelnut trees, and 12 grape vines. And our barn is full with 7 chickens, 2 ducks, 2 Dwarf Nigerian goats, and 1 Kune Kune pig. None of our animals are meat animals, but they all have a purpose. The goats will be used for milk, the chickens produce over 40 dozen eggs every year, the pig is for orchard clean up (and is our pet), and the ducks are for slug control.

This site is our way of sharing our lives with you and we will use it to update you via blog posts, share recipes that go along with our produce and post availabilities for produce at our farm stand.

Want to know something else about us? Stop by the farm stand when we open in the spring or send us a message! We always love to chat.
